ASSE provides its members with several services, in addition to onsite seminars and the PDC, including:

  • The Online Community, a members-only online access to the membership directory,
    career services and bulletin boards as a means of enhancing membership networking;
  • The monthly "Professional Safety" Journal, which features specialized research
    papers and cutting-edge safety, occupational health an environmental issues;
  • "Society Update" Newsletter outlines the latest ASSE activities, member accomplishments,
    "chapter and practice specialty news and ASSE communications on issues;
  • "Self-study courses prepare participants for certification examinations as well as continuing education credit via approved college credit by the American Council on Education;
  • Active, ongoing public relations/affairs programs that are international, national and state-specific;
  • Proactive government affairs programs and activities;
