Loss Control Consultant

Special Districts Association of Oregon , a statewide association of local governments who provides workers' compensation and property/liability coverage is seeking a Loss Control Consultant. Loss Control provides safety assistance, training, policy review and general risk management assistance to a wide array of public entities which include but are not limited to education, park and recreation, fire, utility and irrigation districts. Position requires statewide travel, teamwork, strong verbal communication and writing skills. Although working statewide, Loss Control offices are based out of Salem .

Education/experience requirements include Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Insurance Management, Public Administration or Business Management and three to five years of loss control/risk management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous safety, insurance or industrial hygiene experience preferred. Competitive wages plus comprehensive employee benefits.
