Safety Superintendent

Title: Safety Superintendent
Degree: BS/MS Safety, Engineering or related; prefer CSP and/or CIH
Years of Experience: 8+ years of safety experience from oil refineries, chemical plants or related
Salary: up to $120,000 plus bonus (depending on level of experience)
Location: Beaumont , Texas area (relocation package is available)

Our client, a large international chemical company, needs to hire a Safety Superintendent to lead the safety department of a large chemical plant.  Will be responsible for safety program development and improvements, OSHA regulations, internal and external audits, safety training, emergency response, ergonomics, industrial hygiene, psm, etc.  Must be a strong leader to manage the function as well as a staff of four professionals.  To be considered for this position, the following criteria must be met:

· BS degree in Safety, Engineering or related; prefer Masters, CSP or CIH certification too

· Strong Safety experience from chemical plants, gas plants, oil refineries or related

· Strong staff management experience

· Safety program development and improvements, OSHA compliance, auditing

· PSM, emergency response, ergonomics, industrial hygiene, training
