Update On Facility Contract
Sharell presented the partnership agreement between ASSE and Oregon OSHA. MaryLou and Steve N, will sign it, as will Michael Wood.
Conference Logo, Theme, Name
The committee voted to leave the logo the same. The them and name will be discussed at the Chapter meeting. It was suggested that the Chapter members suggest themes, with a complimentary registration going to the person who submits the winning theme. Gretchen will take suggestions until June 10 via email.

Exhibits
The committee hopes to sell all of the spaces available in the hall and figure out a way to draw attendees in. Robin suggested having a scavenger hunt, or something like that, in the exhibit hall to increase the activity in the exhibit area. Maybe post answers to questions randomly through the hall, and have attendees go around to match them to their sheet of questions. Robin will work with the Exhibits Committee to design a prize drawing process. It has also been requested to put the break food and beverages in the exhibit hall.
Budge
There was a lengthy discussion on whether or not to offer group discounts. The committee voted to have an Early Bird discount for Tuesday and Wednesday only. The costs will be $160 for registrations received or postmarked before February 27th, and $175 after that date (for Tuesday and Wednesday). Additionally, there will be a one-day fee of $100, and a Workshop Day fee of $65.
Some ways to increase the profit margin are by getting more sponsors, saving on speaker costs, and reducing AV costs. The committee is able to provide five LCD projectors, which will save quite a bit.
Keynote Speakers
A suggestion for Keynote speakers is the U of O President (charitable donation could be offered). Gretchen will check on this possibility. Please bring other ideas to the next meeting in case the U of O President declines.
Session Topics
Larry Dennis and Peter Furst were speakers suggested by Mary Lou for sessions. These will be added to the list from previous meetings. A priority agenda item for the next meeting is to start selecting sessions and speakers.
