g). Dave Bogart & Dan Hadley had a great brain storming session at Wildish Group for 1st three months of the proposed program. Will promote program through the web site and email. Suggested there be tracks at the Safety Conference in March where one could make up for missed tracks. OR-OSHA will be invited to participate in meetings. How do we get to the objective 3+ monthly presenters. Can SHare with other Chapters and Coop.

h). Dave Bogart reported on several governmental affairs issues: HB 222 has been referred for passing will affect all employers not just those with 10 or more employees. Ergonomics will come back as issue with a Democratic Administration. There will be an attempt for a Federal Standard.

There is an attempt to hide this in Safety Committee Improvement bill. Duane Grange suggests that a Joint Committee address this issue to be ProActive instead of Reactive. He will poll the other Oregon Chapters and report back accordingly.
