OLD BUSINESS |
a) Executive team members to send bios, photos, and other information for website to Wesley. Update to be completed by May 21, 2008 .
b) Executive committee provided feedback on the website promotional policy. Mary Lou to provide guidance on the policy letter.
c) Jack Strong ( Douglas County ) is interested in forming a Section of the Cascade Chapter in Roseburg . Mary Lou will talk with Jack Strong about this.
d) Dues increase proposed by Society. Executive committee quorum needed to vote. Executive Committee made unanimous vote to reject the dues increase proposed by Society.
e) Chapter participation in upcoming ROC and Leadership conference executive committee voted on by email. Vote result is that chapter will sponsor one person to attend ROC (April 2008), and two people to Leadership (September 2008).

NEW BUSINESS |
a) Wesley to put email to membership together to announce the safety web forum is available, run email by Mary Lou before sending. Executive committee members need to email Wes to set up time for a web-ex meeting. 10-15 minute sessions. Elizabeth to send out reminder email to e-com to set up times with Wesley. Set up appointments with Wesley by Friday May 23.
b) Chapter to participate in Safety Day, June 21, 2008 at Alton Baker Park . Steve Bridges is heading this effort. Steve is going to gather give-away gifts from other members of Cascade Chapter and recruit volunteers. Budget of $250 allocated by executive committee.
c) Proposal to do quarterly half-day PDC seminars. Topics and schedule to be developed. David Bogart is going to head the development of these seminars. Possible topics include: respiratory protection trainer-the-trainer; confined space training; fall protection; incident investigation. First PDC is tentatively scheduled for November 2008.
d) Conference presentations to be posted on the website for members to view. Marilyn Dye to email Elizabeth a list of speakers and email addresses, and a sample agreement letter to distribute. Elizabeth will email requests to speakers. Presentations to be acquired and posted to the website by June 30, 2008 .
e) Dwayne Grange made a report to the executive committee regarding his attendance at the spring Regional Operating Committee Meeting in April 2008.
f) Executive Committee needs to send out Thank-You Letter to Cascade Conference Sponsors. Marilyn Dye to email list of sponsor addresses to Elizabeth . Elizabeth to draft Thank-You Letter. Send out by May 31, 2008 .
g) Certificates for Safety Management Series to be handed out at June Meeting. Wesley, Dave and Elizabeth to work together to determine who will receive series completion certification.
