EXECUTIVE TEAM REPORTS |
a) President : Roc Notes sent out. See new business.
b) Vice President : Membership applications handed out to executive committee. Cascade Chapter has volunteered to assist Region I with the CoPS Program.
c) Treasurer : System for taking in money for the conferences is not working well, will work with OR-OSHA to make system more accountable. Created an operating budget. Changing to electronic bank statements.
d) Member At Large : Not in attendance.
e) Secretary : Sponsorship update.
f) Government Affairs : Government affairs issues are posted on the website.
g) Membership Chair: Not in attendance.
h) Conference Committee Chair : Conference planning is on track. Next meeting is Tuesday 10/23 1:30 to 3:30 at Monaco.
i) Program Chair: Speakers are arranged for November meeting.
j) Past President: Doug Caven: Nothing to Report; Chris Short: I made it!

OLD BUSINESS |
a) Dave Bogart and Wesley Dukes are updating the website, adding Meeting Minutes and Legislative Sections. Completed updates will be sent out to the ASSE Cascade Chapter email list.
b) Sharon Pleu will contact ASSE Officer Central Kathy Leidiger 847-699-2929 X-3454 National ASSE for the Non-Profit Status certification. By 10/2/07.
c) Steve Bridges will mail Membership Promotion Letter to local businesses. Tabled until Steve is in attendance.
d) The Safety Management Series is going to require speakers for each session. The program chair will head this effort, with support from the executive committee. Email speaker info to Gretchen Brannon after contacting prospects.
e) Wesley will build a WebServe Email Community where people can get information & connect with other in the chapter for information. Tabled until 2008.

NEW BUSINESS |
a) Executive team members to send bios, photos, and other information for website to Wesley by Friday.
b) Identify zip codes for our territory by Oct.31 st for submission to the Regional Operating Committee. David Bogart will sort membership by zipcode and send to Mary Lou.
c) Audit of financial records for last 12 months to be accomplished by Oct. 31 st . Committee to audit the financial records will be appointed by Mary Lou.
d) Chapter to begin producing Newsletter bimonthly. First Newsletter will be sent out Feb. 2008.
e) Steve Nichols and Sharon Pleu will work together to develop a financial tracking system with Oregon OSHA for conference payments. By 11/20.
f) Doug Caven and Chris Short will be looking at the STARS Report to determine how best to serve our membership.
g) Wesley and David will look at the Website Promotional Policy from the Standard Operating Guidelines, and determine whether this is something we want to do with the website.
